Hollyhock Health does not bill insurance. Instead, we operate on a Direct Primary Care (DPC) membership model with simple, transparent pricing.

This means anyone can become a patient whether you have insurance or not. Many of our members still carry insurance for things like hospitalization, specialist visits, or emergencies, while using Hollyhock Health for the majority of their everyday primary care needs. We’re also happy to help you explore insurance options that pair well with the DPC model and may help lower your overall healthcare costs.

By removing insurance billing from the clinic, we’re able to spend more time with patients, simplify the healthcare experience, offer more direct access to your provider, and keep your costs to a minimum. 

Many of our patients already have insurance, they simply want better access to their primary care provider.

Having insurance doesn’t always mean you have easy access to care. Many people find themselves waiting weeks for an appointment, spending a few rushed minutes with a provider, or being sent to urgent care for concerns that could have been handled by their primary care office.

Direct Primary Care is designed to change that experience.
